Built in audio is standard on most motherboards today. And for the most part users who arent concerned about sound quality or just like to listen to thier CDs, the onboard sound is a great value.
Those looking for higher quality audio...
- Home Theater Enthusists
- DJ or Home Audio Enthusists
- Surround Sound Gamers
- Anyone looking to add audio to video
- Anyone looking to record audio
...will find more audio options, configurations, software, performace and the best quailty sound from an added audio device.
Dont be fooled by advertising gimmics. Not all sound devices are created equal. Believe it or not just because an audio manufacture claims to have surround sound or the ability to support 5.1, 6.1 or even 7.1 surround sound systems, doesnt mean they all do a good job of it.
Knowing all the details about audio can be a pain. Things such as how many BITS do i really need? Or if audio recorded at 192kbps is actually better than audio recorded at 128kbps? Do i really need a THX certified audio device? Or does a card that suports EAX in a game really make a difference?
Not to worry WIPC has you covered. We can help you sort through the mubo jumbo, even give you a demonstration if need be.
